TERMS OF SERVICE

(Maikano Data Sub)

Welcome to Maikano Data Sub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, including our website, mobile applications, API, and all related telecommunication and fintech services.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.

2. Account Registration and Security

To use our services, you must register an account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and transaction PIN.

  • Security: We will never ask for your PIN or password via phone, SMS, or WhatsApp.
  • Liability: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Unauthorized Use: If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support immediately.

3. Services Offered

We provide Virtual Top-Up (VTU) services including:

  • Airtime and Data top-up for all major networks in Nigeria.
  • Utility bill payments (Electricity, Cable TV).
  • CAC Registration and Exam PIN generation.

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for network outages caused by third-party telecommunication or service providers.

4. Wallet Funding and Payments

Funds in your wallet are held for the sole purpose of purchasing services on our platform. Wallet balances are not interest-bearing and should not be used as a bank account.

  • Automated Funding: We provide virtual bank accounts for instant funding.
  • Error in Transfer: You must ensure the correct account details are used. We are not liable for transfers made to incorrect or unauthorized accounts.

5. No-Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, all successful transactions are final and non-refundable.

Once data is sent to a phone number, or an Exam PIN is generated, it cannot be reversed. If a transaction fails to deliver due to a network error, we will credit your wallet with the value of the failed transaction after verification.

6. Prohibited Activities

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Using our platform for any illegal activities, including fraud, money laundering, or terrorism financing.
  • Attempting to manipulate or exploit our system, referral program, or API rate limits.
  • Attempting to access other users' accounts.

Violation of these rules will lead to immediate account suspension and potential reporting to the Nigerian Police/EFCC.

7. Developer API

If you use our API, you are responsible for the security of your API keys. We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from exposed keys or incorrect integrations on your part.

8. Limitation of Liability

The services are provided "as-is". We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising shall be settled in the competent courts within Nigeria.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.
